Each year they invite 50 professional sports handicappers to compete by giving two selections a week (1 double play Best Bet and 1 single play plus a one-time only 3-unit play) with a deadline of Monday night by 9:00PM EST the week of the games. I can tell you from experience it is not easy to find two games almost a full week in advance and hit 67% overall (24-12 ATS) and 72% on best bets (13-5 ATS) but that is what it takes to become the Vegas Wise Guys Contest Champion. We have won other handicapping titles which are far too numerous to list here but the ability to access the SDQL databases has increased our ability to consistently defeat the oddsmakers number.
